Day 4 fun in Nassau, Bahamas
Nassau is well-known for the Atlantis Resort.
A visit to the Atlantis Resort is better spent over a few days and we thought a few hours wasn't going to cut it. Instead, we decided to roam around Nassau - get souvenirs and hit up the sights..
Funny side story, we found a spot in this shops area with free wifi, so later in the day we went and got our iPads and connected for a little bit. Technology rules our world.
Them hair braiders are everywhere, I tell ya!
Humidity caused these pics to come out foggy... but there is the Atlantis resort from afar!
Our cruise ship!
We walked to the main part of the town. It was a quaint little area... definitely geared toward attracting the tourists!
The Bahamas have a history with pirates so CJ wanted to hit up the pirate museum...
Store first (because that's where you bought the tickets... sneaky ploy to get people to shop)
Inside the museum it was dark so we had to use the flash...
Crazy big gun!
Fake pirate... REAL pirate!?
Pretty cool art outside the museum.
After the museum we decided to walk around and look for souvenirs...
cue the cat calls "Hey pretty girl, you want a bag? What size t-shirt you need?"
Different shops, same stuff... You can really bargain these things down!
Found the rum-cake!
Monopoly money
already?!
Had lunch at this cute little cafe
I'm not the biggest fan of Dasani water but it was all they had
Talking about Nassau in Nassau
CJ and his adorable dancing
Do you see the super tall man?!
We changed into non-sweaty clothes and had a delicious dinner
Where apparently we got a cake to celebrate our Anniversary!!
(What is that? 2 weeks now?)
Lounging in the lounge with live music!
CJ was checking out this feature on my camera where the camera takes a picture when you BLINK.
pretty silly if you ask me!
