honeymooning: DAY 1

What is a wedding series without a honeymoon series to follow?

INTRODUCING: C&A honeymooning

Pre-Bahama-ing: June 16, 2013

Yes, only a few days after we arrived back to CA from HI we flew to FL to go to the Bahamas

Went from -3 hours (from CA time) to +3 hours (from CA time)
it was a confusing time. pun intended.

Some of you might wonder why on earth we would do that?
To be honest with you, we never planned a "honeymoon." We figured Hawaii was enough!
However, we found cheap tickets for a Caribbean cruise, bought the flight & a Groupon for a couple nights at a hotel and we had ourselves a honeymoon!

Thank you to my new in-laws for dropping CJ and I off at the airport!

Arrived in Miami and this is the first thing we see once we walked out of the airport doors

My handsome HUSBAND!

Taking a taxi to our hotel

words to describe Miami: beautiful. hot. humid.

Jet-lagged and tired, but adventure awaits in Miami!

Pony rides...

Enjoy our first Miami vlog

oh Miami, when it comes to souvenirs, you do not disappoint the tourists...
Apparently is this what foreigners think of Miam-ans?

The most amazing car I've ever seen in real life...

Like a crazy fan taking a pic with their favorite actor on the street.

We walked around Miami beach/shopping area and went to find some good food.
Thankfully Yelp.com does us no wrong and helped us to find CVI.CHE 105 which literally was the best peruvian food we have EVER tasted!!

But really, what are this?

Passionfruit-mango-mojito deliciousness

some platter that the waiter suggested... AMAZINGGGG

I forget what this was because after that initial platter our minds were already blown!

Our hotel room

So comfy

The view from our room!

Awesome bar area

Pool

Acting foolish (I blame the time change)

The rest of the evening we stayed and relaxed at the hotel
We had some prepping to do for our embarkation on our cruise in the morning!

summation

I have a problem, blog-world. A big, fat, problem.

My problem is that whenever CJ & I do something (anything & everything, really) I have this idea that I should take pictures for the blog... Yeeahhh, like I even update the blog.

So here I am in August. More than halfway through 2014 and we just had an epic #cjandaudeuropeanvacay2014 yet I have so many other adventures just waiting to be posted. Adventures from LAST year even!! (As in our vacaville reception and our honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas... yeah, I am a procrastinator)

AUD's DILEMMA: I can't seem to let myself forget about those posts that I promised to post (promised to you, but also definitely promised to myself every time I take a picture), but I also cannot seem to ignore the fact that we just returned from a pretty sweet vacation.
Side note, can I just blog about our adventures full time? Is that even a thing? Does anyone even care? No? OK never mind.

Therefore, you get a quick summation of our European adventure extravaganza via insta-latergrams until I at least post the adventures that I want need to post first.

ENJOY
and trust me when I say that we have HUNDREDS more pictures than what you are about to see

I'm going to go ahead and add one of my FAVORITE photos (never before seen on the internet-world)
CJ, if you didn't know, is an extremely talented photographer. He captured this moment in Venice, Italy.

Even though I feel better that I put those awesome C&A European adventure photos out into the blogger universe, I also feel guilty for all the neglected photos from other awesome adventures that have yet to exist for those of you visiting our blog.

Until next time? Thanks for reading! Ciao!
